Pocatello High School
Class Of 1963

We are sad to report the passing of our classmate, John Laren Noble, on March 15, 2019.  Arrangements are pending with Colonial Funeral Home in Pocatello.  Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.

  • The PHS Class of '62 has invited each of us to become a GUEST member of their newly formed website.
  • For those of you who would like to become a GUEST member of the PHS Class of '62 website, the following steps will get you there.
    • Key in (or click on) the following Internet address in your browser:
    • Press enter to bring up the home page of the "Class of '62" web site.
    • On the "Class of '62" Home Page you should go to the third paragraph (see next item)
      • If you are not a member of the Class of ‘62, you are welcome to look around our website, but there will be areas you cannot access.  If you would like to become a Guest member of this website and enjoy the privileges of a Class of ‘62 member, please Contact Us.
  • Contact Us is located on the left side of the screen, the 6th entry down, click on that, and then it will bring up the empty email form that is addressed to their webmaster, Otto Achenbach.   Fill in the information, including that you are from the class of '63 and would like to be added as a Guest member to the Class of '62 website.  The name you include will be what will be loaded into their system, so you should be mindful of that.  They ask  that married women provide first name, maiden name and (married name) so that will be reflected on your name in the Guest list.
  • Once the "Contact Us" reaches Otto, he will add your name to their Guest membership list, and forward to you the "How To Become A Guest member of The Class of '62 Website".  This will give the information you need to complete the process.

This is a quick reminder -- if you change your email address please remember to change it on our website.  We are getting a lot of "bouncebacks" from classmates who no longer have the email address recorded on our site.  We don't want to lose track of you, so please make those changes when you make a move to a new email provider.

Our website has had 112,715 visits!

(multiple visits in a day count as one visit!)

If you learn of the passing of any of our classmates from locations outside of Pocatello, please notify Fred Evans (with the obituary if possible) or Nancy Graves Briggs.  Thank you!

Are you a Facebook user?  If so, check out "Class Connection", another way to access our website but still keep all the information secure.  Just select the "Class Connection" selection under "Member Functions" on the left and you will go into Facebook.  Enter information requested and you will see our new website access.  If you aren't a Facebook user, you don't have to worry about it.  You can continue to access our website as you always have.  Facebook users have both options now.  Let us know what you think of it!

Some of you have had problems with your password and have emailed to ask us to send it to you.  We cannot access your password, but here is something you can do.  There is a "Forgot password?" grayed box in the upper right hand corner of the sign-in page.  You can click on that and change your password yourself.  If for some reason that doesn't work, send a message and either Von or Nancy will reset the password for you.  Once we've notified you of the reset password, you should go in and change it to something you can remember easily.  The other thing you can do to make this process much easier is to check the "Keep me logged in" box.  You can close the app on your computer as you always do, but the next time you access you will be automatically logged in.  This works unless you don't save "cookies" on your computer or if your system is updated and cookies are erased in the process.  If you don't understand "cookies", go ahead and try it.  If your password is not saved the next time you log in, chances are that saving cookies is blocked on your computer.  In either case, it's important that you save your password by writing it down somewhere.

Welcome to the Pocatello High Class Of 1963 web site!

Please log in and set up a profile!  Also, please help get the word to other classmates who haven't yet signed on and updated their profiles.  We're trying to get as many classmates to participate as possible.

School Loyalty

We're loyal to you, Poky High,

We're the Red and the Blue, Poky High

We'll back you to stand 'gainst the best in the land

For we know you have sand Poky High.  Rah!  Rah!

So give us first place, Poky High

And give us the prize, Poky High.

Our team is our fame protector.

On, on for we expect a victory

For our Poky High.

Che He Che Ha; Che Ha! Che Ha! ha! ha!

Che He Che Ha; Che Ha! Che Ha! ha! ha!

Poky High!  Poky High!  Poky High!

Bring out that dear old flag of the Red and the Blue.

Bring out you sons and daughters fighting for you

Like men of old and giants, placing reliance,

Shouting defiance, Oske Ow Ow!

Amid the sage brush hills that cover our land

For honest labor and for learning we stand

And unto thee we pledge our hearts and hands.

Dear alma mater, Poky High!
