Pocatello High School
Class Of 1963

2024 Poky High 50+ Combined Reunion

Registration and information for the 50+ reunion is now available on the 50+ website,  The reunion luncheon will be held on September 14th in Pocatello at the Red Lion.  If you plan to attend, please register on their website as soon as possible.  It's a big help to the organizing committee if you register early.

If you aren't already a member of the 50+ group, you are eligible and we would love to have you join us.  Just go onto the 50+ website and select "Contact Us" to indicate you would like to join. Membership costs only $5.

If you plan to attend, would you be interested in organizing and/or attending another function in addition to the luncheon for our class?  Maybe a dinner or a picnic or even breakfast.  If so, please let us know.

If you are a member but can't attend, please go into the reunion information and pay your annual dues.  It's a big help to the group and the cost is low.

We hope to see lots of you at the 50+ reunion!

Some of you have had problems with your password and have emailed to ask us to send it to you.  We cannot access your password, but here is something you can do.  There is a "Forgot password?" grayed box in the upper right hand corner of the sign-in page.  You can click on that and change your password yourself.  PLEASE GIVE THIS A TRY!!!  We get lots of emails saying you can't access your account.  It is a big help if you can fix it yourself.

Another problem comes when you change your email address.  The system keeps your original email address until you change it.  So go into your account use your old email address and password, then change one or both to the new information.

If for some reason that doesn't work, send a message and Nancy will reset the password for you.  Once we've notified you of the reset password, you should go in and change it to something you can remember easily.  The other thing you can do to make this process much easier is to check the "Keep me logged in" box.  You can close the app on your computer as you always do, but the next time you access you will be automatically logged in.  This works unless you don't save "cookies" on your computer or if your system is updated and cookies are erased in the process.  If you don't understand "cookies", go ahead and try it.  If your password is not saved the next time you log in, chances are that saving cookies is blocked on your computer.  In either case, it's important that you save your password by writing it down somewhere.

Our website has had 210,002 visits!

(multiple visits in a day count as one visit!)

If you learn of the passing of any of our classmates from locations outside of Pocatello, please notify Fred Evans (with the obituary if possible) or Nancy Graves Briggs.  Thank you!

This is a quick reminder -- if you change your email address please remember to change it on our website.  We are getting a lot of "bouncebacks" from classmates who no longer have the email address recorded on our site.  We don't want to lose track of you, so please make those changes when you make a move to a new email provider.

Are you a Facebook user?  If so, check out "Class Connection", another way to access our website but still keep all the information secure.  Just select the "Class Connection" selection under "Member Functions" on the left and you will go into Facebook.  Enter information requested and you will see our new website access.  If you aren't a Facebook user, you don't have to worry about it.  You can continue to access our website as you always have.  Facebook users have both options now.  Let us know what you think of it!

YOUR HELP IS STILL NEEDED!  Although you were able to get two new email addresses, there are several classmates who are "lost" because their emails no longer work.  They have probably gotten a new email account and forgot to change it on our website.  If any of you know how to reach any of these classmates, please either send me their new email address or ask them to do that.  Thanks!  We don't want to lose anyone!!!

School Loyalty

We're loyal to you, Poky High,

We're the Red and the Blue, Poky High

We'll back you to stand 'gainst the best in the land

For we know you have sand Poky High.  Rah!  Rah!

So give us first place, Poky High

And give us the prize, Poky High.

Our team is our fame protector.

On, on for we expect a victory

For our Poky High.

Che He Che Ha; Che Ha! Che Ha! ha! ha!

Che He Che Ha; Che Ha! Che Ha! ha! ha!

Poky High!  Poky High!  Poky High!

Bring out that dear old flag of the Red and the Blue.

Bring out you sons and daughters fighting for you

Like men of old and giants, placing reliance,

Shouting defiance, Oske Ow Ow!

Amid the sage brush hills that cover our land

For honest labor and for learning we stand

And unto thee we pledge our hearts and hands.

Dear alma mater, Poky High!
