Well, here goes. I have'nt seen you
well,Here goes. I haven't seen you since 1964, just before Bruce and I left for our missions. What have you been up to? I retired from Texas A&M in August of 2000 and moved back to Pocatello to take care of my father. a mile south of the We live about a mile south of the Horse farm now, off of the old Bannock Highway.
Bob was a good friend of mine. we used to saddle up a couple of my father's horses and ride over the hills South of town into Gibson Jack. I lost contact with him after we graduated from high school because his family moved to North Dakota, and I left home for a couple of years before returning home to finish my education.
By the time I finished my education and joined the faculty at Texas A&M, I had no Idea how to contact him. I only learned where he was a few years ago after I had retired from the University.
I wish we could take that ride again into Gibson Jack. Bob would have loved to do that one more time.

Fred, I thought you should know that Robert Allen Salzman died two years ago in Grants pass, Oregon at the age of 78. It is probably too late to do anything but list him as deceased, but he was one of us. Besides there apparently were no funerel services. You can get the same info from the funeral home in Grants Pass that I got by typing,( Robert Allen Salzman) on your computer.
I drive through Boise from time to time. I had some cousins that lived in Nampa several years ago, but I'm not sure where they are now. Once I headed to Texas A&M for twenty five years, I lost contact with a couple of them. One I know is living over in the Payette Lake area now. How did you wind up in Marsing?

Happy B/D Jay hugs Donnie Bo
Gerald's parents and mine were good friends while we were growing up, but he and I didn't run with the same crowd. When I returned from Texas in 2000, I was assigned to be be Anette's mother's home teacher, so I used to see both of them occasionally. I knew Gerald was busy on projects for the church and I saw his Gold Wing motorcycle several times. I was nearly killed on a motorcycle so my interest lay more with horses and hunting. However, I'm sure Mike is right that that he used his time time on earth to good advantage in preparation for the other side of the veil. Till we all meet again.

I was sad to hear of Walt's passing. I knew he had some heart trouble several years ago, but I thought he got past that and got himself in pretty good condition again. I didn't realize he was having health problems the last couple of years. I knew Walt from church trips we took as teenagers and from high school.
I remember his smile,I'm sure everyone who knew him does. Although I have'nt seen Walt for about ten years, when he was visiting his brother John I'm going to miss him.

I still live south of Pocatello, about a a half mile mile from the farm I grew up on. I spent my career teaching iat Texas A&M University and hunting whenever I got the chance to do so. I moved back to the farm when I retired from A&M in 2000, to take care of dad and continue hunting in the Rocky Mountain North west. I moved North a half mile when he died in 2004.
Do you miss living south of Porky, Idaho??? the good old days ...have a great B/D hugs Donnie Bo
